Pet Update

I thought you would like to hear how my pets are all doing, my three fish are all still happy and alive although there has been a slight change, I found out that Naomi is actually a boy so his name is now Binkie. (so now I have 2 boys, Binkie and Bill, and 1 girl, Bish). Charlie is really happy, I think she is about 4 or 5 now. And I have a new pet! He is a 2 year old bearded dragon called Rango. We got him when we saw an advert on gumtree and decided to go get him. He is really cool... we give him baths and he can swim. He walks around the living room and he lets you hold him and he sometimes falls asleep on you. The only bad thing is his food, he eats love crickets so we need to keep them in a separate box in the room with him and use tweezers to pick them up and put them in his cage. Its pretty horrible if they jump away and you have to chase them around the house. At night time they make chirpy noises and it sounds like your in the African Savannah, other than that everything is good :) Heres some pictures of Charlie and Rango, I would put one of the fish but they are really hard to take good pictures of-

Star Trek!!

This Christmas my mum is putting on another pantomime called Scrooge and the 12 Ghosts of Christmas (which you need to invite all your friends to). Last time she did one she asked me to paint huge backdrops on Oz for her Cinderella in Oz show which I really enjoyed doing. For this show she has asked me to produce an L shaped bar which turns into a control panel of the Star Trek Enterprise. I'm quite excited about it and I have started making sketches and plans. I will be putting up pictures of its progress for you to see :) here are some of my sketches -

Minecraft and Bulgaria

I got a game called minecraft recently... its a multiplayer game where you can mine for gold and coal and stuff and use it to build whatever you want. I like using it to build things mostly, it's quite fun for that. I think so far I've made an underground garden, a mayan pyramid and the eye of sauron. Unfortunately when the game got updated I lost all the things that I had built :( but luckily I got a screen shot of one of them. Also in my diary there is a bit of writing about me and my sister Rachel's trip to Bulgaria, we had a really good time there but I don't know if I will go back. Rachel even tried to leave a message saying 'beers and beers and beers' but I think the beer had gone to her head because she actually wrote 'BEERS AND BERRS AND BEARS' which was funny. On top of one of the pages of the diary is a nice old pocket watch which I wanted to show you for no other reason than I though it was really nice. More coming soon :)

A Sketch a Day

For a while I tried this new thing where I was doing a sketch a day and these are some of them... we have some cookies next to a chewy oat cookie recipe, a picture of my cat at the window sill (which made her look fat - sorry Charlie) and a wee toy worm thing that I got at some tourist shop up north. Sorry about the blurriness of the picture, all the writing is saying is that I've had a few boring days and spent a few days with Michael. Unfortunately I was too lazy to keep the sketch a day thing going but I still have lots of little doodles all over it. I'm sorry its sideways... it changed when I uploaded it and I cant fix it :(

This one is just random...

This is something I saw on someone else's blog...
It was a theory that if you draw a random blob shape and give it eyes it will look cute, I tried at and I think they turned out pretty cute looking. They reminded me a bit of the little clay blob people in asain field. I wrote a little bit in this one about my friends from uni who I was meeting that day for a catch up which was the day she told me she was pregnant (she's about half way through now). There's some more alien language in this one which you are welcome to try and decipher :)

Good Friday

This one is about a day trip I went on with my family on good Friday this year, we went to visit Kelburn Castle on the west coast of Scotland. Its is part of some kind of art project so the whole thing is covered in graffiti and it looks reeaally cool. So I did a wee sketch of it when we were there. There also a bit of alien looking language at the bottom... Since this is my actual diary and I leave it lying around all the time and take it out with me I use that for stuff I don't want someone to find and read. (Although I will say that this bit is about me being annoyed and my sister). So here is my diary entry and a picture of the real thing for you to see -
